The Department's description
Exterior description and setting
A single-arched rubble masonry bridge carrying a public road over the Tall River but arches and spandrels now cement rendered. It is aligned approximately north to south.
Segmental arch later cement rendered as are spandrels and outer face of parapets except for rubble stone copings; soffit similarly rendered. Carriageway slightly humped with grass verge to each side.
SETTING: The bridge stands in a rural area with fields to each side.
Historical information
Precise date of structure not recorded but it appears on the OS map of 1834.
