Exterior description and setting

House demolished to make way for a replacement dwelling.

Historical information

A building, probably the existing one, is shown on the 1834 OS 6" map. It is valued at £2 in the 1862 second Valuation. It is probably of earlier 19th century date.

The First survey card of 1983 describes the house as “a single storey thatched cottage. Modern brick cross-wall chimney. Cement skews at gables. Whitewashed walls. Probably stone. Vertically divided double-hung windows with projecting cills.”
