Historical information
The first- and second valuations suggest a one-storey vernacular house at this location. It is uncertain from the valuation revision books when precisely this building took on its final two-storey form.
The first survey slide dated 25th May 1987 shows this building and can be described as: “Two-storey/ three-bay house with pitched natural slate roof with a corbelled brick chimney between each bay. Galvanised gutters with cast-iron down pipe. Walls are harled with lime wash finish over rubble stone. Each bay has a window to each floor. All are modern painted timber T-plan casements – equally aligned but unequally spaced. Centre bay has a t+g sheeted door set to left.”
