The Department's description
Exterior description and setting
Three semicircular spans carry a one-and-a-half lane road over River Finn. Voussoirs of finely dressed sandstone. The abutments and spandrels are of large dressed sandstone blocks, brought to courses. Angled cutwaters, similarly detailed, rise to arch crown level on both sides. The parapets are of random rubble and are coped with large sandstone blocks, many of which are rusticated. The downstream (E) parapet appears to have been rebuilt. Metal pipes are carried across both faces.
Historical information
Shown on the 1834 OS 6" map. Dressed stonework suggests an early/mid 19th century construction date.
