The Department's description
Exterior description and setting
Formerly a terrace of three two-storey houses with harled and whitened walls, slated roofs and timber sliding sash windows, the houses are now combined in one dwelling. Walls smooth cement rendered and painted white; one front entrance door, ledged timber; windows are all replacements, four-pane timber casements; PVC rainwater goods.
Setting: the building stands below the level of the main road and facing it with a paved area in front and a grassed lawn to the rear sloping down to a river with a stone bridge to the south.
