Exterior description and setting
Description at November 2006: Fouintain has been removed.
Description at August 1997; A fountain with a plain shaped fluted column and fluted cap with an acorn finial. It is inscribed 'Glenfield' at the base of the column. It is still working and is located on the seaward side of the Coast Road.
Historical information
Not marked on the 1903 or 1930 OS 25 inch maps (PRONI Ref OS 10/1/35/7/1 and 2). Further particulars in the EHS Report 'Water Pumps in Northern Ireland : A Preliminary Survey' by Fred Hammond, January 1997, Pump no 51.
Fountain was removed around the end of 2006.

Evaluation at November 2006: Fountain has been removed before listing process was completed.
Evaluation at August 2006: Good example of a cast iron fountain, situated in a prominent roadside position. It has group value with the other listed fountains in Ballygalley.
