The Department's description
Exterior description and setting
A 6 bay hall church measuring 21 metres by 12 set well back from the Seacoast Road with its long wall parallel to it and intervening space occupied by the graveyard. The church has a datestone of 1832.
Historical information
Building began in 1832 and services commenced in 1836. The first minister to preach in the church was the Reverend David Lynch. Previous to that he had sometimes preached in the old Crindle school house subsequently replaced by a new school in 1857. Prior to 1838 when the congregation joined the Synod of Ulster, it adhered to the Original Burgher Seceders which was organised in 1826. Church renovated in 1990s.

A simple hall with rear gallery. Interior has been most inappropriately finished in respect of surface materials. Pews changed. Does not merit listing.
