The Department's description

Demolished to make way for new road.

Extract from 1st survey, visited 22 June 1970 - “Is two storey house with roughcast rendered walls and slated roof. There are three D/H windows on the upper floor, all in plain surrounds and with full astragals. The entrance, flanked either side by a triple D/H window, is recessed in a segmental arched opening with simple radial glazing in fanlight”.

Fairview house is indicated on 1853 O.S. map Londonderry 13 but name of house is not given. The building was originally listed in category B on 20-08-1976. The Londonderry Development Commission made vesting application on 07-09-1972. NIHE obtained ownership in 1976. The building badly vandalised and delisted on 31-08-1990. Demolished to make way for new road. A former occupant of the building was W. Porter proprietor of The All Cash Stores, Londonderry.
