The Department's description
Exterior description and setting
Redbrick and painted render 2 storey terraced building with rendered raised parapet in front of pitched roof. Symmetrical arrangement to front with tripartite windows to both sides of a central entrance. Modifications include roller shutters fitted to the front.
This building was recorded during the First Survey but not listed. Since then it has been much altered with a loss of historic fabric and detail. Nevertheless, it remains a building of character and local importance, but does not meet the criteria for listing. A partial survey only was carried out during the Second Survey.
