The Department's description

A former harled and thatched dwelling, recorded as semi-derelict in the First Survey, now demolished and replaced with a two-storey dwelling.

The First Survey card records:

A harled and whitened thatched cottage with two brick chimneys. The sheeted door is flanked on one side by a sashed window with vertical divisions and a 9-pane sashed window on the other. Outbuildings with corrugated iron roofs extend both east and west. Small windows at rear. Semi-derelict.
