Exterior description and setting
A three-storey multi-bay whinstone rubble building built in 1827 as an agricultural school by the Grocer's Company, later converted into Templemoyle House and now utilised as a care home (Templemoyle Care Home).
Pitched natural slate roof, random rubble walls with ashlar quoins, and brick-trimmed square-headed openings; dressed stone cills to window openings; uPVC windows throughout. Modern single-storey porch addition to front facade, and two-and three-storey additions to rear (W) elevation.
Vestiges of outbuildings to S, including a two-storey, hipped, rubble masonry building, with external bell, now partly in ruins.

Although significant in the locale, there have been extensive alterations and the use of inappropriate materials and finishes that have degraded the property and compromised its historic and architectural character.
