The National Monuments Service's description

A house is depicted on the Down Survey barony map (1656-8) of Forth barony at Sigginstown (10). According to the Book of Survey and Distribution (1660s) Edward Siggins of Sigginstown castle (WX053-001----) owned 106 acres here in 1640, and 44 acres at Atlistowne and Rochland, now called Ecclestown, in Tacumshin parish (Simington 1953, 304-05). The precise location of this house is not known.
