The National Monuments Service's description
According to Dalton (1921, 31) there was a local tradition of a road along the shore past Carna and Crossfintan Point leading towards St. Vogue’s church (WX053-035001-), but this would appear to have been a natural route along the sands at the base of the cliffs rather than a constructed feature for much of its length, and the period of its use is not vouchsafed.
