The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a level landscape. This is a rectangular grass-covered area (dims 37m NW-SE; 25m NE-SW) defined, by low earthen banks (Wth 4.5-5.5m; H 0.3m) at SE and SW and field banks or a slight scarp at NW and NE. There is no visible fosse or recognisable entrance, but it may be a rath.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
