The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a fairly level landscape. The cropmark of a bivallate enclosure (int. diam. c. 30m; ext. diam. c. 40m) defined by a wider inner (Wth c. 4m) and narrow external fosse features is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP, AVK 76). There is an entrance gap through the inner feature at NE. It is not visible at ground level in pasture. Archaeological investigations in 2010 exposed approximately one fifth of the enclosing double fosse (SMR file). (Moore 1996, no. 696)
