The National Monuments Service's description
The promontory fort (WX050-015001-) is located on a sea promontory at the E side of Baginbun Head. A raised rectangular feature (dims. 6.4m x 4.7m; H 0.3m) in the interior that is described as Strongbow’s Tent in gothic lettering on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map may be a hut site (Westropp 1906, 257-8). It is not recognisable now.
