The National Monuments Service's description

Located towards the top of a slight E-facing slope. This is a circular scrub-covered area (diam. c. 35m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-5m; int. H c. 0.8m; max. ext. H 2.3m at W) with an external flat bottomed fosse (Wth of base 2.4m; ext. D 1.9m at W). The fosse is less distinct towards the E side (D 0.8m). There is no visible entrance.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
