The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a gentle E-facing slope, it is marked as a rectangular embanked or moated enclosure (ext. dims c. 35m NW-SE; c. 35m NE-SW) only on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6 inch map. It is not visible at ground level in pasture. (Barry 1977, 221, WX 69)
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
