The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a fairly level landscape. The cropmark of large D-shaped enclosure (dims c. 130m NW-SE; c. 90m NE-SW) defined by a single fosse feature is visible on aerial photographs (MM (4) 35- 6). It is truncated at SW by the N25 Wexford to Rosslare Harbour roadway.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
