The National Monuments Service's description

A house is marked on the Down Survey barony map (1656-8) of Forth at what is now Racecourse (8) townland in St. Iberius' parish but was then part of Killshough (Kisha) townland. According to the Book of Survey and Distribution (1660s) Nicholas Turner owned 61 acres there in 1640 (Simington 1953, 305). The precise location of this house is not known.
