The National Monuments Service's description

Two small houses are marked on the Down Survey parish map (1656-8) of Kilrane parish at Ballyhire, close to the castle (WX048-034----), which was owned by Philip Lampert in 1640 (Simington 1953, 307). The precise location of this house is not known.
