The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a gently rolling landscape. The cropmark of a subcircular area (diam. c. 45m) defined by a single fosse feature (Wth c. 3-5m) is visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP: BDJ 3). It is not visible at ground level in a cereal crop. The rath site (WX048-024002-) is c. 200m to the E but elements of the field system (WX048-024----) are not directly connected with it.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County
Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
