The National Monuments Service's description

Located on a rise in a gently undulating landscape on the N side of the old Wexford to Rosslare road. The parish church of Kilscoran is within a rectangular graveyard (dims c. 40-50m N-S; c. 45m E-W) defined by masonry walls. William Barret was the parson in 1414 (Hore 1925, 18) and according to the Visitation of Thomas Ram, the Protestant bishop of Ferns, in 1615 Adam Hay was the Rector and the church and chancel were repaired (Hore 1900-11, vol. 6, 267). John O'Donovan writing c. 1840 (O'Flanagan 1933, vol. 1, 275) says that the site is now occupied by the present Church of Ireland church, which was built in 1819 (Lewis 1837, vol. 2, 207). There are no visible traces of an older structure.
