The National Monuments Service's description

A watermill is marked on the Down Survey barony map of Forth (1656-8) at Ballydouskar in Killinick parish (Hore 1925, 10), and 56 acres at Ballydonskar was owned by John Synnott in 1640 (Simington 1953, 303). The location of the mill is not known.
