The National Monuments Service's description
The Down Survey map parish map of Mayglass (1656-8) depicts two houses close to the castle (WX047-003001-), and the terrier or commentary says that at Tegunan there is a castle, a slate house and some cabins. The locations of the cabins are not known precisely but they were probably close to the castle.
