Situated in a gently undulating landscape. This is a possible estate church or private church of Mulrankin tower house (WX047-031----), which is c. 270m to the S. A church at Mulrankin is listed in the index to Bargy barony of the Civil Survey (1654-6) (Simington 1953, 163). It is marked only on the 1940 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. It was remambered locally in 1940 that evidence of a structure had been found c. 1910 in the middle of what was known as the church field but its precise position was not known (OSFM). There are no visible remains of a structure, enclosure or burial at ground level in pasture. St Bridget's Well (WX047-030----) is c. 160m to the S
