The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a level landscape with a N-S stream c. 60m to the E, and the seashore is c. 600m to the S. The cropmark of a D-shaped enclosure (dims. c. 35m N-S; c. 30m E-W) defined by a single fosse feature with straight sides at the N and E that are parallel with mapped field banks is visible on aerial photographs (MM (18) 0-2; (19) 13-15).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
