The National Monuments Service's description

Located on a fairly level landscape. This is an oval grass and scrub-covered area (dims. c. 50m N-S; c. 40m E-W) defined by a slight scarp NW-N and E-SE with a bank incorporated into a curved field bank (C 38m) at S. There is no visible fosse or entrance.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
