The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a slight S-facing slope in the village of Duncormick. Archaeological testing (06E0929) on the area SE of the motte (WX046-035001-) (dims. c. 80m NW-SE; c. 40m NE-SW) produced evidence of a semi-circular slot-trench with packing stones (int. diam. c. 5m) and a post-hole. This appears to have been the W edge of a house, but its E side has been truncated. (Dehaene 2009, 555, Group E)
