The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a slight rise on an E-facing slope. This is an oval overgrown area (dims. c. 50m E-W; c. 34m N-S) defined by a denuded earthen bank (Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.6 1m) with traces of an external fosse. An original entrance was not recognised.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
