The National Monuments Service's description
Three cabins and a windmill are depicted at Newtown on the Down Survey (1656-8) map of Bannow parish. They are located away from the coast, and according to the terrier or commentary James Furlong and Richard Cullen jointly owned the 176 acres of Newtown townland. The location of this house is not known precisely.
