The National Monuments Service's description

Located just off the crest of the SW end of a low NE-SW ridge. The site of the parish church of Carrick (WX045-036001-) is situated towards the SW edge of a subcircular or a D-shaped graveyard (dims c. 80m ENE-WSW; c. 60m NNW-SSE) as marked on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. There are no visible remains of a church, apart from a possible font (WX045-036003-), or of burial, but three crosses located c. 300m to the NE (WX045 037001-; WX045-037002-; WX045-037003-) are thought to have come from the graveyard.
