The National Monuments Service's description
There is a round arched entrance gateway (Wth 2.17m) protected by machicolation on the SW wall of the bawn (WX042-02003-) of Killiane castle (WX042-020001-), and a stairs on the inner side of this wall leads to the wall walk of the bawn.
