The National Monuments Service's description
Marked only on the 1925 ed. of the OS 6 inch map, and situated on a level, low-lying landscape. This is a conical tower with opposing doorways (ext. diam. 6.6m; int. diam. 4.8m) surviving almost complete (H c. 6.2m). There are three storeys but only one window on the first floor at NE is in evidence.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
