The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a NE-facing slope close to the headwaters of a SW-NE stream. An oval area with three concentrations of burnt and cracked stones and black earth (dims 28m E-W; 6-10m N-S) is visible when the field is ploughed.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
