The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a gentle E and NE-facing slope with the headwaters of small streams that flow c. 650m NE to the NW-SE River Corock c. 140-180m to the NE and SE. This is a D-shaped spread of broken and burnt stones (dims. 18m NW-SE; 16m NE-SW) visible in a ploughed field and truncated by an ENE-WSW field bank at SE. Burnt mound (WX040-083----) is c. 230m to the N. It is visible as a dark stain on the aerial photographs of Google Earth (2010).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
