The National Monuments Service's description

Located towards the bottom of a SW-facing slope and on the E side of a SE-NW valley, but the stream is c. 150m to the SW. A kidney-shaped area of burnt and broken stones and black earth (dims. 15m NW-SE; 10m NE-SW) with an opening at NE is visible when the area is ploughed.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
