The National Monuments Service's description
A layer of oyster shells (T c. 0.3m), some with traces of charcoal adhering to some of the shells, were noted in a trench c. 1m below the surface in the vicinity of Spawell Road, Wexford town in 1971, but the precise location is not known. (SMR file)
