The National Monuments Service's description
Sir Thomas Esmonde is said to have re-built the Ballytramon castle (WX037-009001-) with a brewhouse and bakery as well as an orchard (Jeffrey 1979, 97 8). The location of the bakery is not known, but it would probably have been close to the house.
