The National Monuments Service's description
The parish church of St Patrick's (WX037-032010-) is located on a rise within a subrectangular graveyard (dims c. 45m NNW-SSE; c. 25m ENE-WSW at S to c. 50m ENE-WSW at N) defined by masonry walls on three sides with the town wall at W. There are no medieval memorial monuments in the graveyard. Archaeological testing (19E0410) by C. McLoughlin just outside the SE angle of the graveyard recorded a pit (diam. 1.4m; D 0.8m) with Saintonge ware (excavations.ie 2019:285).
