The National Monuments Service's description

Marked as circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 50m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6 inch map and situated on a slight rise in a fairly level landscape. This is a D-shaped area (dims. 43.5m E-W; 31m N-S) planted with coniferous trees that is truncated by an E-W field bank at N. It is defined by a scarp (H 0.5-1.5m) E S-NW, with the remains of an earthen bank (Wth 7m; ext. H 1.8m) on the perimeter NE-E. There is no visible fosse or entrance.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
