The National Monuments Service's description

Marked faintly as a small circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) cut by a NW-SE lane towards the NE edge on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a SE-facing slope. It is not visible at ground level in pasture, and a lime-kiln depicted just outside the perimeter at E on the 1839 ed. of the map is no longer present. It may have been a ringfort or a quarry.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
