The National Monuments Service's description

An armorial plaque ‘three feet by two feet’ (dims. c. 0.9m x c. 0.0.6m) representing the arms of Thomas Knowles who was Sovereign of New Ross in 1633 has the initials TK and the date 1642? in relief at the top. The stone was kept at a farmhouse in Arnestown (Vigors 1898-1900), but it is now lost.
