The National Monuments Service's description

Located towards the bottom of a W-facing slope towards the head of a S-N valley. This is a circular overgrown area (diam. c. 33m) defined by the slight remains of an earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H c. 0.5-1.5m; ext. H 2.5-3m), with an external flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of base 4.5m) NE-SW on the uphill side of the monument. There is an entrance gap (Wth 3.7m) at NE. Rath (WX034-008002-) is c. 150m to the NW and rath (WX034-011----) is c. 80m to the SE, while the earthwork (WX034-009----) and ringfort (WX034-012----) are c. 140m to the W and c. 100m to the E respectively.
