The National Monuments Service's description
Marked on the 1839 and 1924 eds of the OS 6-inch map and described in gothic lettering as ‘St. Nicholas’s Well’ on both. It is situated in a scrub-covered area on the NW bank of a small NE-SW stream, but is not visible at ground level. There is no record of veneration. St. Nicholas's church (WX032-013001-) is c. 1.6 km to the SW.
