The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a NE-facing slope with a short NW-SE stream c. 70m to the NE, but the N-S River Slaney is c. 500m to the E. The cropmark of a double-ditched enclosure is visible as concentric semicircles of fosse features (int. diam. c. 30m; max. ext. diam. c. 55m) on aerial photograph (CUCAP, BDR 18). It is cut by a NE-SW field bank at S and is not visible at ground level in pasture. Rath (WX032-015002-) is c. 170m to the SE.
