The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a shelf on an E-facing slope. There is local information on the discovery c. 1920 of what is described as a square chamber (dims. c. 0.9m x c. 0.9m) covered with a single stone that contained ashes and a bowl that disintegrated. Archaeological testing (19E0774) c. 100m to the NE failed to produce any related material (McCarthy 2019; excavations.ie 2019:031).
