The National Monuments Service's description
Marked as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6 inch map and situated just off the N-facing slope of a small S-N spur at the N foothills of Camross Hill. It is known locally to have been an embanked enclosure removed in the 1970s. A slight curve in the field bank at W (C 20m) is the only indication of the monument.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
