The National Monuments Service's description
According to Grattan Flood (1912, 15) there is a cemetery called Skeirk, associated with St. Aidan in Adamstown parish, but there are no other references to this burial ground. ‘Skeirk’ is probably Scark townland, but no burial ground is known there.
