The National Monuments Service's description
Marked faintly as a subcircular enclosure (dims c. 30m N-S; c. 25m E-W) incorporating a field bank SE-NW on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. It is not visible at ground level in a cereal crop but is visible as a cropmark enclosure (diam. c. 40m) defined by a fosse feature NW-SW and the field bank elsewhere on aerial photographs (MM (3) 35-6).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
